«Expert-Center NIKIMT» was established in 1995 on the basis of nondestructive testing department   of the government enterprise «NIKIMT» (research-and-development institute of assembling  technology)  directing materials research organization.  The department has acted since the institute inception in 1957

The main activities of the «Expert-Center NIKIMT» are:

• Development of NDT methods for atomic industry and other industries;
• Development of control technology for the weld, pipelines and equipment;
• Development, manufacture and supply of automated NDT system for nuclear power plants, pipe factories and other organizations;
• Carrying out a visual, radiographic, ultrasonic, capillary, magnetic testing, leakage testing.
• Training and certification of NDT experts;
• Certification and equipping of NDT laboratories;

Major works performed recently are:

• Development the systems and equipment for the control of reactor’s body of nuclear power plants in Balakovo, Volgodonsk, Tianwan (China), Bushehr  (Iran).
• The development guidance NDT documents.
