«Expert-Center NIKIMT» was established in 1995 on the basis of nondestructive testing department of the government enterprise «NIKIMT» (research-and-development institute of assembling technology) directing materials research organization. The department has acted since the institute inception in 1957
The main activities of the «Expert-Center NIKIMT» are:
- Development of NDT methods for atomic industry and other industries;
- Development of control technology for the weld, pipelines and equipment;
- Development, manufacture and supply of automated NDT system for nuclear power plants, pipe factories and other organizations;
- Carrying out a visual, radiographic, ultrasonic, capillary, magnetic testing, leakage testing.
- Training and certification of NDT experts;
- Certification and equipping of NDT laboratories;
Major works performed recently are:
- Development the systems and equipment for the control of reactor’s body of nuclear power plants in Balakovo, Volgodonsk, Tianwan (China), Bushehr (Iran).
- The development guidance NDT documents.
